DESCRIPTION: Recent progress in the construction of more realistic (non-su
persymmetric) black-hole microstates that could account for the Bekenstein
-Hawking entropy has yielded novel families of regular and horizonless bla
ck-hole mimickers. In this talk\, I will briefly review the known classica
l phenomenology of these “topological solitons”. I will then report on
the current effort to model the full nonlinear dynamics of these microsta
te models with a Numerical Relativity approach.
