DESCRIPTION:Recent progress in the construction of more realistic (non-sup
ersymmetric) black-hole microstates that could account for the Bekenstein-
Hawking entropy has yielded novel families of regular and horizonless blac
k-hole mimickers. In this talk\, I will briefly review the known classical
phenomenology of these “topological solitons”. I will then report on
the current effort to model the full nonlinear dynamics of these microstat
e models with a Numerical Relativity approach.
