Pedagogical innovation project: implementation of AI-based tools in teaching/learning

The Pedagogical Council of the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) recently selected a Pedagogical Innovation Project (PIP) for funding, which aims to implement tools based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching/learning. This pilot project, coordinated by Professor Filipe Joaquim from the IST Physics Department, is a partnership with the upstack.ai team, made up of Rahill Ismael, António Lagartixo (former IST students) and Shannon Burk. In its first phase, the project will be implemented mainly in some General Physics courses, with the main aim of innovating teaching, learning and assessment processes.
