Posters on topics from all research areas are welcome for submission 
(deadline to express interest: 15 July).

The best poster will receive a prize! The winner will be announced at the end of the IST-PhysFront'25.

Poster Session FAQs

1) What is the deadline to reserve a spot for my poster at the event, and how should I reserve it?

The deadline is 15th July. To reserve a space, you must fill in the form at:

Anyone submitting a poster must also register for the event at:

2) Do I need to have the poster ready by 15th July?


No. The poster must be printed by the day before the event. All posters will be put up on the day of the event itself.

3) Who can present a poster at PhysFront’25?

All students from LEFT, MEFT, and the PhD programme in Physics and Engineering Physics who are currently working on (or have recently completed) PIC1, PIC2, a Master’s Thesis, or a PhD Thesis.

4) Why should I present a poster?

This is a great opportunity to showcase your work and develop new communication skills.

5) I’ve never made/presented a poster before. What should a poster include?

After registration closes, we will send out guidelines regarding the poster requirements (dimensions, mandatory elements, where to print, etc.). A coaching session will also be organised to clarify any doubts students may have when preparing their posters.

6) What does the poster presentation session involve?

Posters will be displayed on the day of the event. During the sessions, authors are expected to stand by their posters to answer any questions from participants. The whole event takes place in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere.

7) Are there prizes for the best posters?

Yes, there will be prizes for the best posters, voted on by all participants of IST-PhysFront’25.
