Abstract

In this work we compactify plasmas with two different types of electric fields applied and then find edge waves at the interface between magnetized domains.

The first case is a local interaction caused by a Field-Effect Transistor; a second case, without a FET, with non-local Coulomb interactions stemming from all electronic density in the fluid is also addressed.

Two distinct edge-modes are calculated for each case, their dispersion relation and velocity profiles.

All four edge-modes are simulated in magnetized graphene with a hydrodynamic simulator.
